I was going to be a lawyer, but advertising’s more fun.
Imagine telling your family a week before college graduation, you’re not going to go to law school after all. After taking the LSAT’s and being accepted, you instead join The Creative Circus. To their credit, my folks took it pretty well.
After two years of making fake ads in Atlanta, I moved back to Dallas where I’ve been connecting brands with their audiences in all sorts of fun ways.
I’ve worked in large agencies, small agencies and have even been my own agency. My client list spans across financial services, health care, CPGs, auto, home services, and more. And after you’ve worked as a creative as long as I have, you’d better know how to write and concept for every modern medium.
But I’m more than my work.
My two kids are objectively adorable. I’ve run 10 marathons in 9 states, including the Goofy Challenge. I lived in Spain 20 years ago. I love board games and have dabbled in designing my own. Fantasy Football Draft Day should be a holiday. My unwritten novel is written from the zombie’s point of view. My “haven’t started” start up involves fake insurance. I’ve been a Kansas City Chiefs fan since I was born, and I remember the dark times before the Andy Reid-era. I can do choreographed dance to N’Sync’s “Bye Bye Bye.” I’m a parrothead.
